(MVO News) Shimla: Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, who could not attend the 6th General Conference of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited Technical Association at Hamirpur due to bad weather, addressed the employees through telephonic message today. He announced that the employees of State Electricity Board would also get 10 percent of the arrear pending on account of the revision of pay scale alongwith employees of the State Government next month.
Chief Minister also announced that all 16 categories of Technical nature given enhancement of Rs. 150 in the Grade Pay by the Punjab State Electricity Board would also be given by the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board thereby benefitting each employee by Rs. 228 per month.
Chief Minister also announced grant of Rs. one crore for Benevolent Fund of the State Electricity Board.
Chief Minister lauded the role played by the technical employees of the State Electricity Board to ensure electricity in every nook and corner of the State despite difficult topography and working conditions.
Reiterating his Government’s resolve for the welfare of the employees of State, Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal said that despite limited resources, his Government had given various benefits to its employees from time to time. He urged the employees to work with dedication and devotion to serve the people.
