Karva Chauth greetings

Shimla: Smt. Urmila Singh, Governor Himachal Pradesh and Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh have felicitated the women on the eve of ‘Karva Chauth’. In her message, Smt. Urmila Singh said that ‘Karva Chauth’ reflects the strong and pious bond of married life.

Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal said that ‘Karva Chauth’ was a pious festival of women folk as they wish for long and healthy life for their life partner on this day. He said that State Government had declared ‘Karwa Chauth’ as gazetted holiday for women employees to enable them celebrate the festival in a befitting meaner.
