Himachal speaker meets union Railway minister

New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh speaker Mr. B. B. L.  Butail  met union railway minister Mr. Pawan Bansal and requested to expedite the railway projects of the state to provide better transportation facilities to the local residents as well as tourists visiting the state.
Himachal Speaker Butail  requested the railway minister Bansal to provide adequate budgetary provisions for various railway projects of the state in the coming railway budget.
He requested for  conversion of Joginder nagar-Pathankot  railway line as broad guage keeping in view of  the heavy passenger load on
this line and also requested for  timely completion of the Una -Nangal-Talwara  railway line by providing adequate budget and manpower in the next railway budget.
He also requested for construction of Dehradun-Poanta Sahib-Kalaamb-Chandigarh railway line and Chandigarh Baddi railway line to
facilitate the movement of goods from industrial areas of the state. Himachal Speaker B B L Butail  requested the union minister to
ensure timely completion of all railway projects being commissioned in the state and strengthen the railway network in the state.
