18 youth injured in bus accident in Germany
Berlin: 18 youths aged between 13 to 14 years from the Westphalian city hall were injured yesterday in a bus accident in Lower Saxony (district Holzminden). Two of the youths seriously injured were flown by a helicopter to hospital. According to initial findings of the police 72-year-old bus driver lost control on vehicle and crashed bus on a tree. The 72-year-old was slightly injured.
About 150 emergency personnel and ten doctors cared for the young and the bus driver. A total of 50 young people were in the bus, which was on the way home from Dassel (Northeim District) to Halle in Westphalia. Police estimated the damage of around 20,000 euros.
