Shimla: Himachal Pradesh govt. today requested the union commerce ministry to enhance the limit of capital investment subsidy from present 30 lakh rupees to rupees 50 lakh. The demand was made by Himachal industries minister Mukesh Agnihotri who called on Anand Sharma union minister for commerce and industry in Udyog Bhawan New Delhi. Himachal industries minister Mukesh Agnihotri thanked the union minister for commerce and industry minister Anand Sharma for restoring the capital subsidy and transport subsidy to the industrial units of the state.
Himachal industries minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that union govt. has agreed in principal to sanction funding amounting to rupees one hundred crore for six ASIDE projects of the state and added that state govt. has already submitted detailed project reports of all these projects. He thanked the union minister for sanctioning a sum of rupees 15.15 crore for improvement and strengthening of road network from Ajouli to Santokhgarh and Tahliwal industrial area upto Laluwal and requested him to sanction a sum of rupees 165 crore for various infrastructural development projects of the state. He told that state govt. would provide suitable land for setting up 30 crore cost regional centre of Indian institute of foreign trade in Shimla and added that it will largely benefit micro small and medium enterprises units in the state.
