Review: Motorola Moto G

Motorola Moto G is selling around Rs 12499 for 8GB and Rs. 13999 for 16 GB on Flipkart. Moto G is provided for little higher price in India and smartphone marketplace is swamped with budget smartphone. Every person is speaking about Moto G all around. Definitely Moto G is an excellent smartphone but is it really a best budget phone?

Lets take a Review:

Design

The Motorola Moto G is a heavy compare to many other budget gadgets in the current market. Although the gadget has removable back cover but the battery in the system is non-removable. On the top of the cellphone has a 3.5mm earphone jack and the power/unlock key and volume keys are located on the right side of the phone. The mic and micro USB port are located at the bottom of the phone.

The 4.5-inch HD display & the top of the display holds the light sensors, and the front camera. The underside of the display has the on screen buttons. Back side has the basic matt finish panel that has Camera, flash, speaker and the Motorola logo on it. The steep rear panel allows to protect the camera lens from hitting the floor while holding the phone down.

Display
moto-gMotorola Moto G has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The gadget screen is primarily based on IPS LCD technology and shielded with 3rd generation Gorilla Glass. Screen is major factor that may amaze most users. The Gorilla Glass 3 provides very smooth surface of the screen and generates bright output.

Hardware

Hardware of Moto G provides the Snapdragon 400 SoC Quad-Core processor, it generates the maximum power at 1.2GHz per core. The system also has an Adreno 305 GPU which allows the processor on the system in making graphics faster. A 1GB RAM on board combined with 8GB or 16GB ROM.
Moto G does not have a micro SD slot for memory but includes the Proximity sensor, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Digital Compass and A-GPS with GLONASS.

Software 

The Moto G will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS but after update there were reportedly connectivity issues. Motorola will have to release another update soon.

Camera & Connectivity

The Moto G arrives with 5MP camera on the rear side and a 1.3MP camera in the front side. The gadget has very restricted option, the rear camera does have Autofocus. There is a flash accompanying the rear camera but low light photography will be below average. The front camera with 1.3MP resolution works fine for video calling.

Connectivity capabilities on the system are fairly good. This smartphone arrives with Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth along with micro USB port.

7.2 Awesome

Conclusion

Motorola Moto G is not a high end smartphone but the build quality is excellent and the display is wonderful. Moto G is recommend to anyone who is searching for smartphone with strong hardware and budget price. Motorola presented one of the best displays in the market with very good quality hardware.
