S. R. Pundir

A famous Journalist of Hindi and English Dailies of Northern India Mr S. R. Pundir is an out standing philosopher having full command on four languages. Through knowledge of Upnishads [Vedas], Purans, Yoga, philosophy of different religions, Indian Theater, culture of Himachal Pradesh, Indian systems of predictions, Indian system of healing, and other Indian scriptures.

He has authored a number of Poems, short stories and satires published in the different national Dailies and reputed magazines during his 30 years long career in Journalism and Literature. He has authored six books on different subjects, all are unpublished. He is a well established satirist who wrote regular satires for a number of magizenes and National Hindi dailies for several years.

With an extraordinary creative skill, Mr. S. R. Pundir is one of the most respected Journalist of Himachal Pradesh known for his bold, fearless, fair, intelligent and creative journalism. He is known as common mans writer.

He is also founder and State President of Dev Bhoomi Union of Journalists, a leading association of Journalists of Himachal Pradesh.

He is presently working as District Level Correspondent for The Tribune [leading English Daily of northern India], Press Trust of India [English & Hindi news agency] & Dainik Tribune [leading Hindi Daily of northern India] and Publisher and Editor of Sirmour Samachar [Hindi weekly].
