Doom: The Dark Ages Limited-Edition Xbox Gear Collection Revealed
We’re getting ever closer to the launch of Doom: The Dark Ages on May 13, and Xbox is celebrating its imminent arrival with a trio of limited-edition items, including an $80 Xbox Wireless Controller with an eye-catching design. Two of them are already available, while a third drops later this month. Featuring a gorgeous design inspired by the Doom Slayer’s armor, this standard Xbox controller features a rugged green, grey, and blood-red design. It’s also colored asymmetrically, with one analog stick red and the other grey, and one bumper orange while the other is grey. Toss in face buttons with letters from the Sentinel alphabet, a red mark of the Slayer on the right grip, and a battle-worn aesthetic, and you’ve got a brutal-looking controller that’s a perfect fit for Doom fans. Preorders are now live at the Microsoft Store and Amazon, with more following after April 18.
The controller is only supposed to be available at the Microsoft Store until April 18, but Amazon created a placeholder store page early. It’s possible Amazon’s preorders will disappear and then return after Microsoft’s early access window ends, so check back if you can’t secure one today.

With a bold red design and a transparent red case, you can glimpse inside at the inner workings of this premium gamepad.
