Xbox Special Edition Transparent Controllers Get Huge Black Friday Discounts At Amazon
Xbox’s two most recent Special Edition controllers are on sale for steep discounts for Black Friday 2024 at Amazon and Walmart. The Sky Cipher Xbox Wireless Controller normally costs $70, but you can snag this eye-catching transparent blue controller for only $45 at both retailers. The transparent clear Ghost Cipher Xbox Controller is also discounted to $45 at Amazon and Walmart. This is a massive discount for a controller that just released last month.

With a blue transparent shell, rubberized grips, and metallic sky blue accents, this is one of the coolest controller designs for Xbox Series X|S. Of course, it’ll also work on PC and mobile, and features all the usual tech from Xbox Wireless Controllers. This includes a share button, a pairing button to quickly switch devices, and a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. The Sky Cipher launched in August.

Xbox followed up the blue Sky Cipher with a clear model in the same transparent style in October. This one has light gray buttons, sticks, and triggers. The gold D-pad is a nice touch, too. If you prefer your transparent tech to be as, well, clear as possible, the Ghost Cipher is the one for you.
Keep in mind that this controller uses AA batteries instead of a rechargeable battery pack, though you’ll get up to 40 hours of playtime before needing to replace them. If you want a rechargeable controller, there are plenty of battery packs you can purchase separately, including this officially licensed charge kit.
